...is the genetrix of both the band and the community. She sets the musical standard to which we all aspire to - drive, discipline and excellence are all hers to share and impart as she is totally self-taught since the age of 13, and now gives Masterclasses.

She expresses her musical visions of the fluid and holistic nature of women's strengths and natures through her custom made, fretless bass - it is full size, she is tiny, but will not compromise in anything or to anyone. Her bass lines can be subtle or driving - but are an ever present, ever felt force - just like her.

Her name of The Bitch' came about from the response of a still to remain nameless bass player of some note and renown, who after having heard enough about the band and the bassist in particular, decided to see for himself - it was bad enough for him not to be able to dismiss all the women as incompetent musicians hiding behind a gimmick, but he was clearly heard by witnesses to exclaim 'Bitch !, godamn Bitch' all the way through her solo.

She founded the community, and is known within as Mother - the true source, foundation and inspiration of our stance and craft.
